Thank you Laurent! Wish I could have had these when my Convair 340 model was being built!

There was also a really ugly RAF version called the Andover where the tail was jacked up so they could put in a rear loading cargo door.

Airliners

[QUOTE=deltamazda;22764360]Here some stuff I have more to come.[/QUOTE
I have always been intrigued with prop airliners. As of this writing, I've yet to personally see a twin engine Convair 240 or 340 with retracting side doors!

I've not seen one, either, but I'm not surprised given the high curvature of the shell, the thinness of the fuselage wall, the lack of interior space, and the concept of horizontal access and egress using "jetways" still in the future.

Just joined RCGroup to discover such a wealth of information/activities/&friendship! Would like to know more about the Electra deltamazda worked on, & any detailed info on the Convair /240/340. Hope to model this aircraft someday. Thanks, Sky

The Air and Space Museum in San Diego has a great flickr page... it is approaching 200,000 photographs posted.

Doing a search for an aircraft manufacturer and model designation always produces great results.

Convair 240/340

Demondriver: I just recently joined this wonderful RCGroup & still trying to navigate my way around. I've always wanted to model a CV-240 or -340 in Braniff airlines. Do you have or know details? Three views plus sectionals with details of the side folding stairway? Decals? Thank you in advance. -Sky

The plans are in zip format please put it in PDFs as zip cannot be downloaded and size adjustment is not possible

Anyone have some TU-134 drawings? All I can find are simple 3-Views with only a few cross sections. Like to met more details on panel lines, landing gear, flaps, etc.

Same goes for the ERJ-145 or XR version.

Awesome, thanks!

After I make my OV-10 I'm planning to make a composite ERJ-145. Either twin 64mm (52"WS, ~80" long) or 70mm (55" WS, 84" Length) with the works (double slotted fowler flaps, spoilers, thrust reversers) or whatever is feasible at that size atleast .

mike_fish and his 777-200LR is helping me get motivated to go all out.

If interested, build up two composite fuse/wings and I will pay you for one! 70mm's would be good.
