If it were using a true 3D mode, then this would be the worst promotional video I have ever seen.
Agreed. I pointed out the later clicks because I think them being heard when the heli is in transition may be coincidence rather than them being specifically associated with a change to inverted flight mode. Or the later clicks could be the "pilot" flipping another toggle on the Tx for some reason.

Got my v922

Got my v922 just now,it's a pity that I can not tame this new heli.I feel it's too sensitive for me.
I'll find a large grassy field to practise.

Please tell us the version of RX.

and don't you have TX of HiSKY?
(I ordered HT8 today,to try binding)

If this works I will probably buy a 922, though I haven't found a good source for buying a separate HT8 tx module yet. If it doesn't work, I probably won't be interested even if spare parts are cheap.

I don't think the stock Tx is good enough for a CP heli.

I'll keep an eye out for the results. Thanks for being the tester.

I have been watching this WL-Toys model too. I did find the HT8 module for sale separately here in case anyone else is interested.

I have a Genius CP I picked up when prices were really cheap so I am in no hurry but if I can fly this WL Toys CP with my Futaba 8fg I would be very tempted to pick one up.

Thanks for that. It will be interesting (and relatively low-cost) if it works with 9x/9xr/Flysky + HT8 module. I'm assuming the Rx board is the same as the Hisky/Turnigy FBL100s, so no reason offhand why it wouldn't.

I saw some words CYH100-01.4 on the PCB board, what does that mean?

My wild guess:
CYH = Chi Yuan (驰远) HiSKY.
100 = Helicopter class.
01.4 = Version 1.4

I understood the left shoulder sw!

I understood the left shoulder sw today!

If you choice "L" mode.
left-shoulder-sw OFF:normal mode
l-s-sw ON:inverted mode(elev and rud and pitch be inverted)

If you choice "H" mode.
l-s-sw OFF:normal mode
l-s-sw ON:normal stunt mode

L/H mode is changing "inverted or normal"

So if you are usual 3D flier, you must choice "H" mode.
Then you can do usual 3D flight.

Just to confirm, to change between "H" and "L" modes, you press the "Down" button on the right of the LCD display?

By default, when the transmitter is powered on, it is at "L" mode? So the usual 3D flyer always has to switch to "H" mode?

So, for a usual 3D flyer who does not need automatic reverse of controls, he first flicks the Idle-1 switch (at top left shoulder), then press the "Down" button to switch to "H" mode?

Thanks.

yes

no,TX remember the state of "H" or "L"
If you choice "H",powered on again,it is same "H"

>So, for a usual 3D flier who does not need automatic reverse of controls, he first flicks the Idle-1 switch (at top left shoulder), then press the "Down" button to switch to "H" mode?

no!no!no!
At first choice "H".
and start flying ,and flick left-shoulder-sw,and do 3D!

In "H" mode,l-s-sw act as normal flight-mode-sw.

And I checked the linear-servo's stroke,"H" and "L" is same stroke......
So this TX is not suitable for beginners,is suitable for intermediate flier,I think.

KKDDMM,

It seems that right now, only you and Aaron have a unit in hands. Can you post a video of it doing 3D in a normal 3D flight mode?

If you are not familiar with 3D yet, maybe you can find a friend to do that?

I am very curious (and I think others to) to see how it performs in normal 3D flight mode, and to see if it acts exact as the HiSky or has its own personality.

first thx for sharing your informations...

just a little question: the special inverted mode really does invert elev, rud and pitch? but not - correctly - ailron? really sophisticated....

I'm sorry,I can not do normal 3D.
I'm sorry,I have no heli-friend in China.

And I've not checked,V922's RX can bind to HiSky's TX.
(I've got HT8 today,but it is a reject.)
But I think, the body of V922 can fly as FBL100.
