Slow-charge saves another pack

I decided to charge my CP-1300 pack for a lively flight in my narrowed Zagi yesterday. Unfortunately, the pack only cycled 400-500ma. Rats. This pack hasn't been flown in months, so it's time for a slow charge again. After an all-day charge at 130ma, it now cycles at 1270ma in, and 1100 "plus change" out. Now for the rest of my packs......

Hey Al,

Same thing happened with my CP-1700's for my E-Streak. After sitting for some time I cycled it with my Dymond ST charger and amps were way down. Set the charge at it's lowest setting and let it simmer for a day. Did a cycle after the slow charge and the "pack was back" ( not Green Bay, the batteries).

I did this to a pack of 1300 CP's. I peak charged them and it went full bore for about 10 seconds and then the esc cut out.
I drained the pack and then put them on the slow cooker (55 miliamps wall wart). After 1 full day of charging, put it into my Raven sailplane and just as good as new!!! Good way to revive packs that have been sittin around.
