Tom brought his hand made obsidian blade to the BSoAZ last weekend, and demonstrated his techniques for making them. Almost had to use it to split the firewood stumps!.

Hand well my wrist is getting much better next week will work on new launch style with how high. I want to throw like Gary Jensen. He out threw Donnie by 20' to 30' in the fly offs. I told my timer not to get read from Gary because he launches so hi it is hard to tell if from lift or just really high launch. Donnie launches to the moon. My goal is to break 200' with no wind. Yes probably a dream but going for it. Thanks to the East Coast 2012 ATLANTA Punkin Chunk Nov 9-11 and Cliff/Atlanta Hobby/NASA for supporting the F3K team. Great flying by Jeff Car prelim win and fly off win Double/Double hard to do. Bruce looking great as well as all the pilots. Frank D good to see you flying how the new kids doing? Are anyone of you coming to the JEM? Hope so Cheers. Buddy Roos hope your leg gets better and hi to your brother.

Tuff. S.0.B

That's great news George ,
So happy your wrist is on the mend
Everybody watched you throw hard all weekend in AZ,and I know you we're sore the whole time.
It takes grit and tuffness to do that-and I hope your team members at the worlds see how tuff you are ,and are ready to fight thru pain and disscomphert at the worlds
And to the juniors, you better get tuff .your stepin in the ring with the best in the world!
No room for weakness at that level

Oh, there is no dount about Georges toughness. I think it is probably next to impossible to get him to just NOT USE HIS WRIST until it has fully HEALED! Or at least follow doctors orders.... LOL..

Tough? yep.

Launch high. Fly low.
Trust me, Mike, I tried.
He's one tough GMoFo!

Here's a short Vid of the Storch's departure:
Storch Departure (0 min 0 sec)

I had a lot of fun out there, despite not being much of a challenging training partner for George. About all I could do was mark the strong lift close enough for George to throw right into.

Luckily, he pretty self-disciplined when it comes to practicing.

Tim

P.S. Despite what it looks like in George's first picture, I was NOT putting down Coronas two at a time. I was handing them out as a "thanks" for the people that got my car out of the sand.
