Welcome guys.
It's good to see members including their children too, and hopefully encouraging a new generation into the fold.......my grandad encouraged( if that's the word as I needed no encouragement at all) me to my first scratch build when I was 8 years old............I'm now 61 and have never ( apart from classic cars and bikes...and a little fishing in my young days) strayed from model boat building.............it's a bug that I can't get rid of, nor do I want to..........so, as they say, Happy trails, and enjoy your building and sailing.............and a nice place to sail to........Herne Bay.....was down there this spring, and enjoyed it very much.

neil..

Welcome to the hobby and the forum. If you are at all interested in connecting with other model boaters near you or getting into a club, our club website has a reference page: http://wimodelboats.org/boat_clubs.htm

England is full of model boat clubs.
