thanks for the info and links to the props guys...i am working with a small budget and will take me some time to get all the parts together.I will probably order most of the stuff from rctimer due to there good prices and free shipping..wondering if anybody has a idea on how the t-copter could be made foldable? perhaps the front boom could be hinged somehow where it could fold back? would make it easier to transport to flying locations...

thanks again...

i looked at that one but the T-copter seems it would be easier to build and lighter as you mentioned in first post...i was thinking the front boom could be a 2 piece design with some sort of locking devise in the middle which would allow it to easily fold ...but not in flight..lol

got a good idea on how to make it foldable...on the tail boom front where it meets the front boom add a dial pin or nylon threaded insert by drilling a hole and gluing it in...then on the front boom cut in middle and remove half the thickness on both ends where it meets in the middle so when it meets it will still be the same thickness..then drill a hole where it will slide over the pin and use a clip for dial rod or nylon wing nut for threaded insert to secure it to the pin...

It's probably just you. I've seen it in full 3D.
