Just a warning for those who arent aware. Kickstarter and similar websites are often used by scammers.

For all I know the powered skateboard is legit. Looks cool but with batteries that size you wouldnt go very far.

LaGrange L1 by RedRock Boardshop

I thought you RC guys might be interested in our latest project:

The LaGrange L1 uses standard hobby parts such as an outrunner motor and a Castle Creations ESC. It is completely programmable and is offered as a kit or RTR.

Looks nice, but I prefer my double kingpin trucks and my red "ghost" under glow.

What wheels can you use with it?

You can use any wheels that use standard skateboard bearings. The wheel hub gets epoxied into the wheel.

Iím happy to announce that through self-funding and generous terms from our suppliers we have been able to produce our first large batch of LaGrange L1 DIY kits. They are for sale now through eBay and Amazon and they are looking great! (see the links on our website). Also, check out our new website which has lots of resources and tips for building an electric skateboard using the LaGrange L1 truck. Please spread the word by telling a friend and feel free to contact me personally if you have any questions or if you are interested in being one of our board building partners.

Thanks for your support!
