Haven't had a chance to fly it as yet, but from inspection it looks good. Perhaps a little stronger than the other SW models.
I did use some PU glue around the joins just incase, as our local parks can get very long.

The winding wire ended up burning after a long hover followed by a sustained full power pullout on a fresh pack. I've done it hundreds of times before that though, so I can't really explain why it failed when it did. I had 465 flights on that motor.

Ok tks - but sorry to hear about your burnout! Is it fair to assume that this plane isn't quite as suitable as a 3D trainer as the Skywing Sbach/Yak/MXS/Extra, since the Balsa construction makes it less crash-resistant?

It's basically constructed the same, it's just designed to have a more rounded scale look. But the materials and construction method is pretty much the same. Although due to the way the motor box is constructed I would say the MXS is probably a little tougher, but this based on my observation of the Edge, but on the MXS I have extensive durability testing.

I don't think it will be resold in the US. Just order it from Best Value, the service is great, Feda is online all the time for questions, and the shipping cost and time is not all that bad.

You can buy the plane right now from www.bestvaluerc.com in China or from www.wattaplane.com in Canada.

I am not aware of any plans for there to be a U.S. reseller. Personally, I wouldn't be waiting around in the hope of there being a U.S. reseller when you have 2 options right now to buy this fantastic plane.

I saw them on Wattaplane's website last night. Anyway, it doesn't matter now since you have already ordered this fantastic plane .

Dave, this plane flies far, far better than half as well as the other Skywing planes, so you're gonna be a VERY happy man .
