Sacrilege!!!!!!!!!!

Always thought the L39 was the nicest looking jet around for PSSing That means you'll probably have an F104 and the L39 to maiden at the same time

It will be good when she can come flying with me. Surely she'll love it. 'Cos we did get her off to a good start. She's already been to the PSS fest. And had some 2am building sessions in your shop.

Hmmmm...... what's the name of that Supertramp song again?

I wet sanded the 2nd coat of resin. It came out better than I expected. Not sure I'll bother with another coat. It looks kinda crap in the pic because the colour is uneven but the surface is smooth and flat.

Yeah especially once you factor in the price of decent 4 axis CAM software.

A bin liner Jordan? Now your stooping to my level! .But seriously, what's going on there? The fuz in a bag, and somehow you're forming the canopy over the top of it? Is it a vacuum moulding? Theres always something new for me to learn when you start building. Thanks.

Nothing mysterious. Just masking off the area I want to mould. Don't want to get resin fingerprints/drips/runs on the rest of the fuse.

Thats clever. So whats the clear plastic stuff over the canopy area and how did you get that nice smooth shape to it? is that to mould inside of or are flopping the mould over the top of it?

That's the surface of the plug. MDF coated with resin. Wet sanded nice and smooth.
