Damn those bastards at Aero Vodochody must have ripped off my design!

Pulled second one out of the moulds today and put together a short kit for Gizzo.

I laid up an oversized canopy, trimmed it to the shape I wanted, then sat it back in the mould and carefully scribed around the edges.

Edit- Pics describe it better. Different plane, and different part, but I did exactly the same thing.

Nice work, so simple too!

What's the paint on that plug in the last picture?

The moulds were freshly cracked open. The blue PVA gives it a strange tint but it was just grey primer sprayed into the moulds. Some kind of 3M lacquer.

Did you assume a data/reference line through the fuselage from which to set up both incidences (decalage) at 0/0 deg.?

Kinda. I just blocked up the back of the fuse till it looked right. Then marked the wing off parallel to the table. Once the wing's glued in place then I'll block up so the LE and TE are level then put a level on the stab and glue it in place.
