As long as it doesn't end up with a 'skim milk' paint job like your F20

Sweet! I was wondering if you were using CNC. So did you build that machine? Any info on it?

No I didn't build it. It's a chinese 6040 machine. Lots of info on google. The machine is pretty solid but the electronics (spindle, steppers, drivers, wiring) are cheap and nasty.

I got a bit done today.

All the parts cut out and glued together. A little filling and sanding. And a coat of resin.

No you didn't miss it. I was hoping for a maiden at Manilla (next week) but I can't get up there this year It will have to wait until the summer easterlies pick up.

How 'bout your jet?

Sadly its about where it last was :-( Building more *serious* aeroplanes has had to take precedence. I'm looking forward to hearing how your 104 goes though - looks stunning :-)

How big is this L39?

Definitely post some pics once you've got one done!

Span on this one will be ~46-48". Fuse is 900mm long, 50mm wide. I'm purposely leaving off the fillets just in case I want to do a quasi-PSS TWF one day
