De Havillnd DH2 Plans/Kit?

Hello All:

I am getting an urge to build a De Havillnd DH2 pusher bipe. Anyone know of any plans or a kit ? I would like the plane to be in the ~30-35inch wingspan range. My inital search results have not been fruitful, but I suspect there is a plan lurking in some deep dark corner.

Many thanks for any suggestions and happy Thanksgiving!

Mike Midkiff has an electric free flight version. I have it at home and can check later. I think it is in the size range you are looking for.

Alex,
Although I have no idea if it is still available, Turnkey did do a short kit for the Mike Roach designed, Flying Scale Models plan. This was around the size you requested, and intended for a geared 400 motor.

Your in luck!

There is a plan and article for a 37" 1/9 scale DH-2 by Mike Roach in the Jan/Feb 2001 issue of Flying Scale Models. Check the magazines website, www.modelactivitypress.com to see if you can get this back issue. If not, I know you can still get the plans from them. There is also a "short kit" available for these plans through www.turnkeyrc.com.

Many thanks for your replies. I have followed your lead and ordered the short kit through Turnkey (i.e. still available). Looks like exactly what I am looking for! I will post a thread when underway in a few months.
