Hi All

I'm interested to hear from you what settings you are running in your ESC with the Typhoon 500H

I have a TAROT 500 with an 80A YEP ESC (YGE Clone) with an 11T pinion and a 2200 6S.
The performance is hardly dazzling, this has made me suspect that maybe my settings are out.

I'm currently set up like this:

Timing - 18 degrees
Governor - Off
Startup Speed - Heli Middle
PWM - 8 kHz
Startup Power - Auto 1-32%

Any thoughts will be appreciated

That motor is a powerhouse for a 500 heli. Listed at 1800kv...Its more like 1900kv. ....Set your normal throttle curves to 0-30-50-75-100. Your battery is small at 2200mah your looking at 3.5 min flight time..this heli takes 2600-3000mah, Most run a 6s 3000mah 30c-40c that will get you 5.5- 6 min flight time. Set your esc to soft start. Stay with your 11 tooth pinion with that motor.

Yes, my next battery purchase will be 3000mah.

I was talking more around the power, it seems to be quite tame. And with all the talk about how awesome and powerful these motors are I was wondering if my timing or PWM is out?
