Good fun today in spite of breezy conditions. When I checked it around 12:00 it was blowing 16 gusting to 24. Tomorrow looks a little milder.

FSS-7 Sunday Standings and Round Scores


I have attached the Final Satndings and Round by Round Scores from the FSS- Sunday event held by San Felasco Soaring in Alachua, FL.

We hope everyone that attended had a great time and we look forward to hosting another FSS event sometime in the near future.

Thanks Gainesville guys for hosting FSS #7, it is always nice flying "TD" at a different flying field.
Also thanks to everybody for the help with the equipment transport, setup, tear down, retriever operations, and knot tying

Great Pictures Gordon, thanks for posting them.

How about some feedback on the hotels you all used . There were some new ones used this time around and I'd like to know how they were.

Jamie and I stayed at the Cadillac Motel like I mentioned above in my post #15. We saved money and had no complaints. The place is old but in good condition; the room was big, had a full-size refrigerator and flat-screen TV; and it's in High Springs, which is an interesting little town.

San Felasco Soaring
Homewood suites off Archer rd and I 75, very nice place, Archer rd has many restaurants, fast food, Publix and gas stations. about 20 minutes from the San Felasco.
