Pilots will be classified as Experts and Sportsmen, and awards will be given for first, second, and third places in both classes. On both days the beginning task time will be announced at the pilot's meeting and task times may change after each round. Other rules will be discussed later in this thread.

See ya there,
Dave

Hotels

The nearest hotels are 2.8 miles north of the field on 441 at the I-75 exit #399 which is about a 10 minute drive.

Fred,

The Gators are away that weekend, Vanderbilt.

http://www.qualityinn.com/hotel-alachua-florida-FL682 has given us good rates for the F3K contest in February, but there are at least 4 motels at the Alachua exit.

Jamie, Dan, and I are going to save some money by staying in one of the motels in High Springs, which are less than 10 miles and about 15 minutes from the San Felasco Park entrance. I got a reservation at the Cadillac Motel for $45 plus tax. Here are three motels that I found in High Springs:

Cadillac Motel - http://highspringscadillacmotel.com/
405 North West Santa Fe Blvd
High Springs, FL 32643
(386) 454-1701
2 double beds - $45 plus tax

High Springs Country Inn - http://www.highspringsinn.com/home/
520 North West Santa Fe Blvd
High Springs, FL 32643
(386) 454-1565
2 double beds ("Springs rooms") - $60 plus tax

Alamo Motel
19803 U.S. 441
High Springs, FL 32643
(386) 454-1248
