I didn't see Ray Alonzo on there so I just called him up. He's now number 32 on the list.

Shirts

Getting ready to put in the shirt order, The design might change a little (to keep the cost down) it is looking like $17 for a polo shirt with a pocket, might also change a little, will find out for sure when the order goes in.
I am going to order a few extras for folks that didn't pre register!
Thanks

The quiz master is in the house...

Just a few questions since I've never been to a Tangerine before.

How does the "assigned timers" work? I've never been to contest where that was done so you can tell me anything and I'll believe it.

What's the launch equipment and scenario? Are many winches used or just a few with retrievers? I'm just hoping to avoid a simultaneous mass launch and simultaneous landing which I felt was hazardous to my plane's health.

How about camping on site...will there be lot's of people doing it or almost no one?

Thank you fellas,.

Great questions;
Assigned timers: It keeps the contest moving, before the start of the round we will post the score cards on the board, and they stay on the board so you can see who will time for you, and who you will be timing for.
Example: group 3 pilot 1 times for group 1 pilot 1,
group 3 pilot 2 times for group 1 pilot 2... and so on

You never find yourself scrambling at the last minute to get a timer!

Launch equipment:
We are going to set up three winches and three retrievers, 6 is the max # of pilots in a group (two pilots per winch) and we will set up 6 landing zones so each pilot has his own landing zone. (very similar to the Mid south)

Kenny allows camping on site on a first come first serve, there are two RV hook ups and pleanty of room for tents are no hook up rv'ing
Kenny does charge a small fee, perhapse you should shoot him an email for more details: kennyworld@embarqmail.com
There is usually a few people camping, there is pleanty of room, there is a 1/2 bath (no shower) in the barn.
See you then

Thanks!

Looking a little more iffy for me after today. Might be going to the state up north for work next week. I'll know more as things get closer.

Thanks for answering my questions, Raed.

Dah-yum... was so looking forward to my annual vacation trip to the Tangerine, but just have to pass this time. Monster renovations taking the place of my favourite sport.. that's just not right..!!!

Will be looking forward to a big-ass Gordon report and hours of pics of all the Florida homey's.. Have a great time lads... and will just have to re-connect at Muncie, The Bruce, and WSM LSF next season.
