I got lucky the lock nuts for my spindlle shaft axles comes from the original axles.
A perfect fit
I have heard of people having problems with the wooden hubs on Trexlers where they swell from moisture, and do not spin freely. Is this a legitimate concern, and would soaking in some thin CA or some similar measure prevent this? Maybe drilling out the hub and gluing in an aluminum/brass tube? Thoughts?

I never really had a problem with the ones I had years ago except deflating on a bad landing
But drilling and adding a sleeve yes would prevent such a problem .

Floats painted, installed last night, its still dark, was up at 4:30,like a kid at Christmas waiting for daybreak to fly. Plane, packs, and radio are already out at the dock waiting on the first hint of dawn, lol. Cant wait for its water maiden. I only wish I had a decent camera to capture this!

THe same that Jeff has on his Beaver.

Now I found 2 axles for them its the spinddle shafts from a small heli I had years ago. Just need to find some lock nuts for them
I received my 3 in tires but they wont fix the stock axels on the airplane. The hole needs enlarged to fit the screw threads. The wood axel is larger than the stock axel. It should fit with some drilling.
Anyone suggest a larger tail wheel to complete the tundra look on the Beaver? Stock tail wheel might be a problem ground handling with the larger main wheels.

For the Tail wheel tundra look I use the Parkzone Icon A5 nose wheel, it fits like a glove and looks good too.

I like the looks of it too.
I notice it has the STOL kit on it.
I also made STOL fins for my Beaver #2 but not shure yet if I will put them on.

Decals finally arrived.

Paint has been stripped off thanks primarily to some acetone.

Next up- some pink, orange and metallic purple.
