Ok, well I was thinking of a new local guy that I am training, but he doesn't have a Radio! He's working part time and in school, has a Trainer RTF he is about to Solo on. That would be a good plane for him to practice with too.

I'll talk to him and see what his finances are....

ok, I would say the 3DHS 40 Edge is for experienced 3ders like yourself Warren ,the twisted hobby Edge would be fine for learning

I have a Dynam Meteor, which is a Habu knock-off. I got it for $120 receiver ready and it will accept a 5-cell pack right out of the box.

Lots of fun, and able to be hand launched.

well let see here,tower pro 90mg on aileron,hitec 55 on elevator and eflite 75 on rudder,motor is good quality Mirco Dan with matching esc

Just got to figure out how to get it. No rush with this weather. Going to loan him my Airtronics 72mhz with a Berg 4L Receiver for now, until I am ready to get a DX8 this Spring and sell him my DX7.
