FlySky is showing a new radio - FlySky FS-iT9

Velociraptor73 brought this new radio to our attention. Does anyone have more information about it?

Other than what is posted below, the rest of the page is in Chinese, I presume. Can anyone translate?

Thanks for the picture! That one actually looks quite cool.

Does anyone know if the transmitter will work with the somewhat-older receivers used with the 9x? I've got a bunch of those, would love to use them with this new FS-iT9.

P.S. for some reason my computer won't access your link. Can anyone access it, do a screen capture, make it a picture (jpg or gif or etc.), and post it here?

My wife is Chinese. If I can see the website (or a picture of it), I'll ask her to translate it.

that screen form-factor makes it look like they took a smartphone and molded some gimbals around it.

color screen...should be interesting. I wonder if it will be readable in bright sunlight

If this is module based, and I expect it is, then it probably has a FlySky module standard. That should match your current FlySky receivers. But that needs to be confirmed.

This new FS-iT9 apparently uses 12V, which I suppose it gets from eight AA batteries. True/false?

Well on the site if You liik Closely then you will see that it say it uses AFHDS2 not AFHDS Though like DSM it will probably be Backward Compatible... and maybe they'll offer some 4ch Rx's and i hope the New 9ch Rx will have a Failsafe!!

10、Low voltage warning:yes(less than 3.5V)

13、Power:3.7V(1300mAh);

Seems to suggest it is running on a single cell Lithium Poly battery.

#15 in the column of Chinese writing mentions 12VDC in English - a figure not found in the English column for some reason.

Maybe a charge voltage for an internal charger for a 3.7V Lithium cell?

Maybe a mistake?

Gotta get my wife to translate this thing....

12v would be nice. imo lipos are a big mistake in a transmitter. of course few share this opinion so flysky appears to be buckling to popular demand.
