Dynam ME-262 70mm EDF Jet

I'm not much of a German WWII aircraft fan but a few really cool axis aircraft have an amazing history and yes...look cool! The ME-262 is definitely one cool jet. This new 70mm twin EDF 262 is awesome! Awesome value, size, performance, scale appearance and great Dynam value. It flies on a 4s 4000mAh battery and stock speed is impressive. The only issue I've experienced during my 6 flights is lack of cooling in the fuselage for the ESCs. Adding cooling holes are a must, otherwise, no other issues...just pure fun!

Here's some photos of the new Dynam ME-262 available from Nitroplanes.com.

Where did you add your cooling holes?

What kind of flight time are you getting on a 4S 4000 LiPo?

Is there room for a larger battery?

The cooling inlet holes are in the gun ports, exit hole aft of the wing mount. Flight time had been around 4 minutes, still staying conservative. It will take a larger battery, possibly 5000mAh.

EDF all the way!

I located the ESC in the nacelle behind the motor. They seem to like it there.

If you are using stock 60A ESCs I imagine you modify wires... originally they have motor side wires very long and battery side shorter.
