Hi Reto and Warren,

I am hoping you two guys have made contact about getting out of LAX. Please let me know.

As for the weather, might have to set up the computer inside my car! Let's hope the weatherman is wrong!

Forecast for Perris,

Friday Sunny, with a high near 87. Northeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Friday Night Clear, with a low around 53. North wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday Sunny, with a high near 91. Northeast wind around 5 mph.
Saturday Night Clear, with a low around 57. East wind around 5 mph.
Sunday Sunny, with a high near 90.
Sunday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 54.
Monday Sunny, with a high near 87.

So it will be windy tomorrow. People will be out flying tomorrow. As long as the wind is not above the FAI limit, we will fly. Since the forecast is for 5 mph on Saturday, I'm optimistic the Santa Ana's will be done and we will have a typical wind shifting tricky weekend at Perris.

Thursday Practice

Darrell Zaballos and I drove down, little over 6 hours, pretty good time.

Fairly calm to start with today when we arrived around noon, and maybe 10 mph at the most today. Lots of flying by Mike Lachowski, Tim Traver, Darrell Zaballos and then Kyle Paulson showed up later in the afternoon.

Duration early afternoon, distance and lots of speed run until dark. 75 degrees, doesn't get much than today.

Only took one BAD photo today, sorry this is it.

Off to dinner.

I am very optimistic about Saturday being very flyable. I will be there on Friday to establish the launch lanes, pit area, parking and admin tent. Funny thing happened. I put up direction signs to the field, and the one right at the road where we turn in was stolen only a couple hours later. It was there, as Mike Lachowski said he saw if coming in. Maybe someone don't like us? Anyhoo, if anyone needs help finding the place, my cell phone number is 951-733-8621. We know the outhouse guy had trouble....watched him drive past 5 times. Had to go and wave him down. Crappy job, but somebody has to do it.

If they are willing to steal a cardboard sign, imagine their potential glee at F3B gear left out overnight.

They have to have a supply of cardboard for their signs to stand on the corner when begging for money.

TSA does not like our mono line! Had 6 rolls in the carry on and they went bananas.
Well, boarding soon.
See you tomorrow morning.
