You noticed where he lives? It's a tough gig. Government limits and filters, no youtube, no twitter, no facebook, no lots of other stuff. I've heard of people having extreme difficulty and even denial importing high tech RC electronics to certain parts of the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interne...orship_in_Iran

That just reminded me of something happened late last year. A guy from Saudi Arabia on vacation stopped by at the field just to look around. He'd been flying 'on the sneak' for many years, but in SA, until only recently, RC flying was officially banned and technically illegal. They got away with it because they were not obvious, very quiet about it. They couldn't -ship- RC stuff into the country, it got in only by people carrying it personally. It's only recently that bans were lifted. Didn't get details if complete lift or just adjustment but that's just an example of yet another tough gig.

I apologise for being so ignorant. In that case an IP address changer should do the trick.

You computer will think that you're anywhere else in the world except Iran

No prob. I did a double take too, and at first I thought it was a 'school filter' thing which is very common.

Nope that has nothing to do with it and will have no effect. The issue is not his IP address, where he's coming -from-, but the destination address, where he can't go -to-. AAMOF I'd bet 3-1 odds that the site you mentioned is already known to the filter admins and is on the official 'no' list and inaccessible. Regardless of whether that works or not, technically there still are other ways to get around it but I seriously hesitate (read: won't do it) to give advice that's in violation of his country's federal laws.

However (I'm surprised I didn't think of this for my prev post) there *are* RCG 'video forums' https://www.rcgroups.com/rc-video-gallery-271/ and that solves the problem neatly.

By "unwrapped" I mean it can't have the plastic on it. And it must be upright. Just like this:

Simply land on the top.
