I would check for bent tail motor shaft, dented main gear, unbalanced damaged main blades. If all is in order I would check also the main grip tightness (tight but not too much otherwise they bind and don't rotate smoothly) and see if the feathering shaft isn't bent.

OK, I am programming my DX6i now for the nano. Why does it have 10% throttle accross the board for throttle hold? Shouldn't that be zero so that if we hit that the motor isn't trying to turn? I guess it's to maintain a kind of auto, but I'm tempted to set this to zero.
OK, I got it bound now, have not flown yet, but the servos are humming just sitting on a perfectly still table. My Solo pro servos with go active if you move the heli, but not just sitting on the table. Should they be doing this? With the heli perfectly still? OK, tried to hover in my living room, it tries to shoot off back and to the left, way too fast to call a drift. Need to get it outside. |

That's what I thought, but the manual says otherwise. Well now my battery alarm in my DX6i is going off! Arggh! I took the day off but am going to the fair with family later so it will have to wait for Saturday.
I hope I found the right charger for my DX6i. 150mah negative tip 5.5v |

For a start it is lighter, more robust, solid tail and more 3d capable out of the box. If you also look at all the videos it is apparent more people feel comfortable flipping and flying it inside than the mcpx.

OK did 2 flights in light changing winds. It rotates on takeoff before the tail holds so that's tough for a new to catch and counter, especially in the wind. Also the tail wags a bit at times but it was windy out. And it yaws a bit left under punches. I thought you guys said the tail could keep up... need to try it again in low wind conditions.

+1 I watched all the vids on this thread and it is Superior to the mCPX in flight qualities and durability. Reason I sold my mCPX and want a Nano soon.... Almost there....

I have ran a brushless on 8t (crazy power) and the motor and pinion combo amplified issues that i didn't see before. So at first the tail blew until i corrected the heli mechanically. Once I did a look over the tail was solid again |
