You don't happen to live in Colorado, do you? I'd let you borrow my DX7. It's been on the shelf for two years since I got an 11X. I keep thinking I'll want it to teach my wife or daughter to fly some day, but so far no luck.

That being said, my last inadvertent backflip into a window lead me to buying some spares. Need a tail boom, and I noticed the aluminum upgrades on the Horizon page. Being a web designer during other times, I noticed something else on the Nano page that many may have overlooked. Below is a picture.
The piccolo was my first as well, amazing how far things have come isn't it!?! I loved to hate that heli but it taught me how to hover in a weekend! Sold it at auction years ago but it served me well!

Outdoor D/R Expo and TC

What's good starting point for Outdoor D/R, EXPO, Travel Adjust and TC including Tail settings? Using Dx6i

I'm doing TC 100% Flat and D/R at 75% Expo 30% but not sure what Rudder D/R, Expo and Travel adjust should be.

The manual has its preferred settings for our DX6i controllers, but I use this (for now):

AILE 0 85% +40%
ELEV 0 85% +40%
RUDD 0 85% INH

AILE 1 100% +40%
ELEV 1 100% +40%
RUDD 1 100% INH

My Throttle Curve is set like this:

Normal: L=35.0%, 2=49.0%, 3=65.0%, 4=83.0%, h=100.0%
Stunt: as per manual
Hold: as per manual.

My pitch curves:

Normal: as per manual
Stunt: as per manual
Hold: 50.0% all across, from L to H. I use 50% so if I crash, the blades won't have an angle, and will hopefully prevent bending another feathering spindle. I'll wait and see though

All my other settings are straight out the manual.

So I replaced my frame and tailboom (tailboom broke and when I CA'd it I got a little wild and it wound up permanently in the socket). Now it seems that my new tail boom is a slightly smaller OD than the previous. It loosely fits in the frame, but doesn't want to stay.

I cannot get my Nano to rebind to the stock 4ch radio and work properly?
I works great on my DX6i but I'm wanting to bind it back to the RTR radio and maybe sell my RTR Nano...

You didn't say if you followed the binding instructions in the manual and held the Rudder stick Left. Go read that section of he manual if you haven't already.

Bill,

Thank you for your gracious offer but unfortunately I don't live in Colorado I live in the New York city area. I could have even lent you some of my gear I'm taking Daryoon's advice and trying to track down a cheap used DX6i but I'm not sure how long I can wait. I can get a DX5e from my LHS 10 minutes away and that Nano on my shelf is dying to take off...

Thanks

When in doubt, pull out the Shoe Goo! It's a necessity in any modelers' tool box!

Please rephrase your question. It sounds like you're trying to bind a 4ch Tx to a 6ch heli, which will never work . . .

Stock comes with a 4 channel so it does work. It does internal mixing to cover the 5 channels.

You need to push the throttle stick in a specific direction to let it know to use internal curves and bind to the radio

Okay. They rectified that about 6 or 8 pages ago.

It would also be respectful if you specified your Tx as well hoss
