I have bought a couple little things from Bev, like the 3 way camera switch.

How is their customer service reputation? I would have to say FoxTech cust service is about 1 star.

I haven't purchased from BEV, but from what I've read across RCGroups, they are tough to get hold of, but seem to be well intended and try to do the right thing of you have the patience.
Send them a few questions and see how long it takes them to respond. I did that back in Feb and it took them weeks to get back to me. I hear they are better now, but give it a try and let us know what happens. Use a different name than your screen name here in case they are reading this.

A note on quality

I got my unit, and it installed and setup easily and perfectly....before I could fly it though it died....my email to BEVRC....we will see how fast and in what manner, they respond...

Gentlemen, I purchased the Storm OSD on order # 2012090819445310. I installed it in my new flying wing and it setup perfectly and was functioning 100% in all its functions. I was preparing to fly it for the first time, but when I attached the battery I noticed no function. There were no changes made since I had tested it the previous day. Upon examining the current sensor and main circuit board, I noticed that both were very, very hot, indicating failure. Removing the unit from between the receiver and servos, allowed normal operation of the servos. The OSD is non functional .

I am a retired electronics engineer... this unit has definitely suffered infant mortality and needs to be replaced....it has not been electrically overstressed in any manner...please issue an RMA for its replacment...

thank you

PS I had a NOVA and it worked well for a long time before I got rid of it...had high hopes for the Storm....

Lee8sec,
Did you get your Storm?
We are eagerly awaiting your report. Is your DOA too?

There must be a bunch out there flying, why is this thread so quiet? Is it just that good?
We need more reports on the best valued OSD ever sold.

Great video, successful tests. It looks like a simple OSD that just works, without endless tinkering with gains. However, it looked like you were getting the unstable gyro indicator in the beginning, despite nearly level flight. Did that happen to you a lot? I wonder if this is an indication of vibrations in your airframe.
Where is the new firmware available for download? I didn't understand what you wrote in your post. Is a separate USB adapter required to update the FW, like the Nova?
Thanks for taking the time to review it for us. Looking forward to your next review.

Excellent job Yangˇˇˇˇ

Please remember your old costumers with nova osd.
We will be very pleased if you can add the rssi with % value and the gps raw data in the screen like you make it in the Storm osd.
