Bart,
You are doing well on your plane. Very traditional except for laser cut. For me to make a museum candidate it would have to be traditional wood and practices. I do not ever think I will see a plane of mine go in a museum made with depron, MPF foam. glass, and carbon fiber. Let alone hot glue, polyurethane glue, waterbase paints, and 3m contact 77 glues. But I am not in my case building my planes to last. Just mainly to fly and beat them up I suppose. Your plane will last for years and may get passed on as a collectable some day or to a family member hand down. You never know.. **Neons** Bob |

Bart - when you are talking about servo/ESC control wires (meaning, the three black/red/white wires that plug into the receiver, not the wires that plug into the battery), yes, you can always combine all the red and all the black wires. They are all electrically connected in the receiver anyway. The red is +5v and the black is Ground. You could run a single +5v and a single Ground into the wing and then branch from there and your servo and ESCs wouldn't know the difference.
The only wires that can't be combined are the white signal wires, since those are unique to each device. You are correct in your case that you could control everything with a 6-connector plug. 4 connectors for the four signal wires, and the remaining two for +5v and Ground. Luke |

Probably a bit late for this build but in a model like this, the number of wing/fuselage connections can often be reduced by mounting the receiver on or in the wing. That way, all the aileron servos, ESCs etc. can be permanently connected leaving perhaps only the rudder and elevator servos to connect on assembly.
