Which FPV Transmitter Battery Should I get?

It's my first time hooking up an FPV transmitter to my Naza F450 and I forgot to order a battery. What type and size battery should I get? Anyone recommend a certain brand?

Here a some pics of my transmitter and the battery connector:

This is the transmitter I got: http://www.hobby-wing.com/pfv-fever-...p-systems.html

just use a ubec which will allow you to use the same batt as your quad but clean up the power so there are no problems with your video Tx and dirty power.

I just bought this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ag=lifinpho-20

It's a little big, but I hope it works. Looks like it has the same connector.

I just use 850mah 3 cells (Turnigy I believe) from HobbyKing. They are like $8 each or so.

I know, I know, a little old school to use a separate battery, but hey, it gets the job done! (Also I don't feel like getting a voltage regulator).

is that the 5.8G 500mW?? I just but it and I want to know if a can connect it directly to my main battery (nano tech 3S 2650 30-70C) that I use on my quadcopter or shoud I buy a smaller battery for the FPV Tx and wich on?? 2S? 3S? 500, 800mah? Its saids that it can handle from 7 to 15 v ... What is the down side from pulling power from the main battery to the Tx ?

You can connect directly to main battery but you'll get too much noise on your videos eg: lines on your cam screen. Best bet use separate batt or regulator. I use 3S 850mah 35c nano-tech on 200mw 5.8ghz vtx module.

You need two items to get power and no interference. This usually works 100% for me, as long as you mind your video wires vs power wire routing:

this one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...r_Adapter.html

and this one (splice in more wire and wrap it around this at least 4 times): http://www.readymaderc.com/store/ind...roducts_id=325

(ie you run it off your main flight battery)

note: that 500mW transmitter has a reputation for blowing up, so most folks recommend against using it for FPV. I bought one too, but have never used it after discovering this problem.

Ican3D is using too much battery. if you really want to run a separate bat, just get a 500mah or even less, and don't need even 8C let alone 30C. Heck I run a 200mW transmitter and cam off a tiny 6 gram 300mah 1S battery, and it goes for 40 min.
