A month ago I pointed out a shortcoming with ZERO-Stead470.
Today I'm pointing out another fault. Apparently, I'll be doing it every month until they copy Ecilop 100% or they stop messing around with what they don't understand.

A lot of people bought the set with a glaring fault for $140, but this set is valued at $1,999.

That is one of the reasons why gimbal is not tiltable in a proper way.

Thank you Alexey!
Does this mean frames that Zero UAV are selling is not your product? I thought they bought rights from ECILOP to be able to make their stedi470?

It is not my product. It is a copy without any agreements.

So sad to hear that. I don't understand, how come they do that without your approval.

When I first looked at stedi470 set, I thought I will get the best solution on the market: ECILOP frame with YS-X6 system. But now I see the dark side of the medal, it's not ECILOP it's a bad copy of it .

the original Ecilop works perfect with ALL of the quality Flight Controls
get a heli gyro to do the fine tuning of the gimbal and you are all set
especially for a quad its no use to get a supersize XBOX plus another box to do this job

I preordered two these mems gyros for my gimbal
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11958
I saw Alexey used same gyros on his videos. He knows what he is doing so I trust him ))

By the way, I thought if I upgrade my YS-X6 for steady gimbal, I will loose few free ports/channels in my controller? Therefore I won't able to use my upgraded ysx6 controller for octocopter anymore? Is it right?

HI, everyone,
I would like to know if you could make this same drawing but with another point or rotation, in the cross of the inverted T, it seems there is a bolted joint, maybe ther is some rotation there....just if you can and you have some time.
Thanks for your explanaition, and sorry for my poor English.

The structure is especially designed for ZERO-Steadi470 system, for gimbal and YX flight controller. When the Steadi470 is originally calibrated, flight controller can automatically measure the size. Please refer to the calibration video in the first page. You can understand.
Since you have found out the difference yourself, why you still say it is copy?

come on...the design is simply not ideal like this...in terms of force and of maximum roll angle...oh wait this is the tilt angle...even more redicoulous
who is doing semi serious arial filming without the ability to tilt the camera more then 45 degrees???

Assembly Manual

Is there an assembly manual for this quad? I tried to view the videos on the first post but it is very difficult (impossible) to see details. I am in the process of building and configuring this quad and will post a HD video once completed. Just trying to familiarize myself with the complete build before I start so I don't have to keep reshooting!

I don't think there is a manual yet.

That will be good. I know someone who is getting his tomorrow and it would help him a lot.
