Hey Ziggy95 can you please post your settings?
Take a photo at each step like aileron pid, elevator and self level, I am just new to the KK2 and multicopters and am just finishing mine and not sure where to start.

Would the default settings of the tricopter in the KK2 be ok to start with?

Not all the default settings. PI are almost the same as precognized in 1st post of this thread.

You will have my complete kk2 config in 5 hours when i will be back at home (if the snow let me go back^^)

Hi tg,

I have just followed the recommended tuning method of setting I to 0 and tune P then add I

I found that my Tri would hover reasonably well anywhere between 60-80 P on Aile/Elev and 20~25 I.
My Yaw P is 35 and I is 30 but this depends on the servo used more than much else I think and I just changed mine out again after my 306 died on me.

Stick scaling was 30 on Aile/Elev and 60 on yaw but before you try a flip you need to get these up to at least 50ish on Aile/Elev otherwise you'll do a large loop rather than a flip. Yaw doesn't need to change but 60 is quick for starting out so maybe 50 or 45 is better.

Rather than race ahead though and use the settings I've posted probably just as good to wait for ziggy's settings... though you now have a 2nd partial dataset to review.

Good luck and enjoy it. Flies nicely I think, plus the folding makes it really portable...

Guys please help not sure what I am doing wrong if anything.

Ok so I put in the recommended settings, using a digital servo so setting is high and changed to servo from esc.

Now everything appears ok direction of motors and props give the copter enough power to leave the ground and just as it lifts off the servo moves the motor immediately to the right(looking at the copter from behind) does not matter what I do it just does the same thing, and if I try to correct it it just goes to the opposite direction.

Self level is off and then tried it with on still the same issue using a tgy306hv tail servo but not sure I am so bumbed as I can't get it to fly

thumbglitch, see the 2 first videos on this post:

are these the kk2 settings you have?
Did you calibrate the ESC's?

You're almost there

Yes I have calibrated the esc's with the board everything seems to be working its just the servo, when I bring the motors upto speed and just enough power for the Tri to lift off the servo just goes hard right, with no input what so ever????

Yes followed the settings of the 2nd vid too and still same issue

I am ready to kick it!!!!
