Good on-road/drifter?

I will have about 350 bucks and I'm thinking of getting a on road car that I could change into a drifter. I heard the hpi sprint 2 is good but I need more opinions.

Thanks in advance!

Also quite more than the OP was looking to spend.

What scale are you looking for? If you want a bigger car, this one looks good for the money:

Here's what a bone stock TT-01 ED drives like:

Tamiya TT-01ED - BMW M3 (2 min 36 sec)

The only thing not stock about it is the optional light control module and more lights. Running stock camber settings all around, and too much grease in the rear diff to make it more like a locked diff.

Could you drift like that on normal cement?

It's actually easier to drift on normal asphalt. The polished concrete has more grip for some reason. It'll slide easily on any surface with the hard drift tires though, just don't expect it to do anything but slide.

If you want to rip around faster, all you need is another set of wheels/tires with non-drift tires and you're set though.

I bought my brother this http://www.nitrorcx.com/51c806-carbonyellow-24ghz.html but i replaced its electronics with brushless motor a 3s lipo and 80amp esc and put rubber tires and its stupid fast!

I know its exceed rc and the true RC car guys dont like them but if you want something just to have fun playing around i recomend this car (upgrade it, it sucks stock).

Same chassis I have in my M3 drifter. Do yourself a favour and get the aluminum center driveshaft, the plastic one will whip and make a lot of noise before failing.
