Very nice. I owe you a video of the one of these https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1685988 that I built.

First plane I have ever built and sure enough it flies great! Thank so much. I will get that video next time we get to the field (AKA when it's not so damn windy).

I want to build this one as well. Can you dumb it down for me and post what kind of electronics you are using and the CG?

Thanks

I'm glad your SUPER EASY flies well ! Looking forward to the video !
The CG on the jet is 13" straight back from the tip of the nose , I used this http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-mars-b...30a-combo.html motor combo from Hobbypartz , 300 watts , 3440kv , 6x4 prop - takes it straight up until you can't see it anymore . I'm guessing about 80mph ! And it ROLLS LIKE A DRILL BIT !! Be sure to put some expo on the aileron channel - it's pretty touchy - and something ( like bright colors on the bottom ) for orientation .
When the time comes for you to build the jet , let me know if you need anything in addition to the instructions above .

This delta setup is used with two seperate servos. If you don't have a programmable TX you need an inline mixer. The tail works together as an elevator and seperate as ailerons. Delta is the setup you'll use on a computerized TX.

It uses elevons , which is elevator and ailerons combined and mixed by the transmitter . They can both go up or down together ( elevator ) , or one can go up while the other goes down ( aileron ) . You can see it in this video
Home made mechanical elevon mixer (0 min 26 sec)

Is there a close up of how you mounted the motor (remember, I'm new at this)?

Battery size?

I use a 1000mah 3s and the motor is attached to a motor mount which is hot-glued to the plane
