Balls looking good, Ali!

I usually skip the threaded couplers, and glue the plastic yokes direct to the CF pushrods. Then I wrap some thread or a piece of carbon tow around the yoke and onto the CF rod, and then apply thin CA....

Less weight in J-Lo's butt and the front is plenty good for adjustment of P/R length.

Black silicone would be BOMB...
Are the surfaces and wing STE faced with glass? Knowing you, I bet they are.

Guy's im on a budget and this thing aint for me, so I can't throw all the bells and whistles at it, or else I would be building it for 3.00 an hour.

OK, my I felt guilty so I just faced the surfaces with some 1 oz glass. But that's it! I'm done. LOL

I also made the canopy hold downs.

Just the wiring and control surface linkages to go.

I'm loving the MGS I have just started using.
The difference is like night and day.

If you have some small thing to layup, bring it over and you can check out the MGS.

Target I have several gallons of MGS, a few gallons of west, and a gallon of some other junk I don't like.

The tails on this bird are MGS, but for general bonding and such I use West as it is easier to pump and costs less. I have been laying up some fuse's with MGS and I really like the the stuff.

Ah ha!

Thats funny, becuase I like the West for bonding as well. I don't use the pumps though, just put the epoxy in a labelled squeeze bottle. If I did more wing layups, I guess I might want something for more bulk.

Anyway, any new pics today?

Well my silicon hinges are drying. I've never done this type of hinge before, so got my fingers crossed. I could not find any black silicon, so I just got some clear from home depot.

We will see how it comes out. Could be a total mess.

I read some how to articles here on the groups, so I did not go into it blind.

Tape the open side after one day of curing, and peel off the tape that is on the hinge side. That will allow the silicone that was against the tape to dry.
After the second day, you should be good to go...
