motor equivalent for the pluma
I am building the pluma flat wing foamie. I want to find a cheaper alternative for the rimfire 28-26-1000. I have found one that is almost perfect, but I want to get some other opinions. I have the link posted below. Thanks!!
I've run my Pluma on this system before:
You can also get the motor cheap at:
You do need to respect the prop recommendations. I burned my first one by pushing it with a 10x4.7! Ooops... wish it was daytime when it happened, as it was it was a night flight. Didn't even notice until someone pointed out the smoke and I lost thrust! Oh to see the pluma of smoke! LOL
Anyway, good luck. I now fly the spec motor 'cuz the LHS had one in when I toasted the first motor. I now have a couple backups (in case).
