NO! It's only rated from 7-10s. At 12s you will most likely fry it.

I had crunched a few numbers last week trying to find the loaded Kv of a few of the Het motors, this was one of them. On average they are about 85% of unloadedKv. So figure around 1228Kv X pack V. On 10s@3.85V per cell, gives you over 47.7K rpm. Now he was using the Jetfan 90 in the F-86, but if you noticed his numbers, ( 121 amps max, 4.4kw max.) you won't get much more for Kw. Don't get me wrong, 4.4Kw is nothing to sneeze at, but for more top end, you might have to squeeze down exhaust dia. a little at a time. Once you get past the sweet spot, amps will GO up. Will be watching progress.

Here's another with the Het 700-83-1445Kv on 10s. System specs in first part of video.

i 'm half agree with u ...
this are numbers for up to 100-120mm fan isn't it?
the 700-83-1445kv is basically designed for such a fan in 10 s ,so after talks with several people ,that won't be a big deal for the motor to work on 12cells on a "small "90mm fan, i 'm not 100% sure of course, and that's why i 'm half agree.
i actually ordered some jetfan 90mm and plan to swap my het fan to this one before first flight..
here's 700-83 spec pdf file

thank to share your opinion

take alook at this too

Here's a link for the JetFan 90 using the Het 1445Kv, 3rd row down on far right.

should give you a better idea of what you will get.

I too have a Jetfan 90, going to go in this. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1635049 A long way to go yet. I am looking into a Neu motor, 1524/ 2D or if I want to balls to the wall this one.1527/1Y. These motors are under rated and could get up to 1000Kw more than listed.

Won't need a motor till next year, but want to get a better idea on what I want.
I wish you the best, on your project.

some update here!
here's the last thing i did on my mirage
second layer of epoxy and glass, modify (lenghtened)and instal tail , build inlet cones and fiberglass them ,...

as u will see on the last picture ,the weight is about 2kg3 with servo's esc and motor/fan
so that's not bad at all !should be around 3.7kg with batteries
perfect for a 6kg thrust set up !!

got back to work on this one and almost done everything to get it ready for maiden
let's hope i'll have time to do the first flight tomorrow !!
i already "bench tested" it and i reach almost 7000watts! with a draw of 168A burst ...57000rpm for the fan for the static test , witch i suppose it'll be a lil' higher when airborne
can't wait to see it in the air !

u know it take effort to transform an original 600w shell into a strenghfull 7000w jet!!
that's the price to pay

thanks for compliments!!

i'm heading into a fulltime work for customers now and the weather here begin to be crapy , but as soon as i have a hole in the day , i'll go to test it again , i guess it 'll takes a while....
by the way at the first flight the mirage didn't have to be trimmed or just few correction needed and that's it !! that mean everything positioned perfectly , canards included!!

Not sure what you used here, was it the JetFan with the 700-83-1445 on 12s?
