Show Us Your Scratchbuilt Multirotors

This idea was mentioned on another thread so I thought I would go ahead and get the ball rolling and we can see how it goes.

This is a place to post pictures and video of your scratchbuilt multirotors and perhaps some details about them. For the purpose of this thread scratchbuilt is anything that doesn't come from a kit.

Lift is where you find it.
Attached are photos of my two wooden multis- they are both built in more or less the same style. The quad has a lot of miles on it, and the hex was recently completed. I love flying both.

The quad has a CC FC, Orange Rx, and DT700 motors turning 11x4.7 props and simonized Plush 18 ESCs. It's built on a 550 size plan. The hex also has a CC and Orange RX, but it runs DT750 motors with 10x4.7 props and is 600mm between opposing motors. The ESCs are simonized RCTimer 18s. Both have fishing bobbers on carbon rod to aid with orientation. I only fly LOS, so no provisions for FPV.

I think my next project will be a Y6 along the same planform.

All I can say is that wood flies great, and the Dollar Store sandwich boxes don't hurt either. LOL Frames cost about $5.00 or less to make.

Here's mine - carbon plates and box section (gone to alloy while I learn to fly ). Cut down carbon feet from turnigy talon (I just bought the feet as spares). FC is a naze32, flies nice.

Just tuning this one up today. Made using Nick_P's design.
Top and bottom plates are only 3mm MDF so they probably wont last long but it was all I had laying around and only took 20 minutes to cut out by hand.
