Kits, Plans & Work-in-Progress Pusher Jets
Now that everyone accepts that pusher jets reflect just as much enthusiasm for jet-shaped planes as do EDF jets, maybe lots of us would like to know what's available in kit and plan form, possible releases for the future, and be reminded of existing pusher jets already made as one-off scratch-builds.
Would guys like to post a list of known and proposed pushers in this thread, including motor/cells/esc/prop/size/weight? I'll kick off with Matt's Buccaneer and EE Lightning, but need Matt to add the specs. Gordon |

I know there not as available as they used to be but Wattage Mirage, Astro 5T and 8kand 950's. On a 4.74x4.75 its 100+ mph kick in the pants.

oh and my all time dudget favorite, the electric arrow, good for speed 40 on up to 480bb and brushless. 8 CP1700's, plate wing, and will set you back a wopping $40 to buy.

Now I'm confused - but i'll go ahead anyway. Here's a pic of my almost complete Chris Golds designed Venom FB4. I've modified it slighly to resemble the FB1 flown by my father in Iraq in the 50's. Designed for speed 400 & gunther prop on 8 cells but tempted to go brushless

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Bruce and Barry. I thought my thread got off to a slow start - I guess that everyone took a while to get over their double-takes - especially Matt ![]() I now remember that I did see the start of Matt's thread, but then got involved in other things and didn't follow it through, so forgot about it. I've just been through it and there are plenty of cool jets there - kinda making this thread redundant .... oh well, I did try ![]() Thanks again Gordon |

you'll love that plane captain, I built 2 of them, one with a gear drive 400 and the other with a Astro BL. And I can safely say your fine with a brushed motor, while it's a plenty peppy plane and lokks incredible in the air, the power of a BL setup is kinda wasted on the draggy fuse. If any BL would work it would be a Mega 6T and a 7x4 prop, that would give you long run time and alot of vertical, and give you as much speed as you'd get out of that fuse and would only require a 10 cell Kan pack.
