So ya. Ive crashed. I personally dont think a sim could of prevented those crashes. it was just poor judgement.

Well... I bought a 250 before even trying coaxial and hovered it pretty well over my driveway. After I crashed, I parted it out... later on I got a coaxial, and then the mCPX V2.

YES for a while. Then it just constantly bogged out. NO because parts are expensive! I sold it and bought the Binary 900 DLG, I believe.

Guys,I need to know what to get next...

I have narrowed it down to this (its just gonna be one of them)

A Quad (that really cheap one I showed you guys earlier.

A 450 size heli (copterx CX450)

A Hexacopter (some DJI knockoff)

A DLG (Topsky 1)

I have decided that I really like multirotors, but helis seem cool too cuz they can do more.

If I get a quad or a Hex, I'll save for a HD Hero 2.

Agressive driver
Quads and hexes are only worth it if you get a camera to put on it and like to do AP

DLG all the way... quad/hex only good for AP and/or FPV... not for sport flying.

On another note - ZMonster, I found out that that Spektrum RX is an AR600, not an AR400 so I might be able to set up ailerons separately!

Cool! Yeah, on an ar600 you can setup dual ailerons. Just set your transmitter to dual aileron wing type and put one aileron lead into the aileron port, and the other aileron lead into the AUX1 port.

A Quad (that really cheap one I showed you guys earlier.

Quads are great for FPV and AP but aren't as fun while being flown LOS, as well as orientation becomes an issue.

A 450 size heli (copterx CX450)

450s are great but most are not cheap and many clones don't have a good reputation.

A Hexacopter (some DJI knockoff)

A DJI knock-off is still going to be pricey with 6 motors, ESCs, big battery, etc. Hexacopters are even less maneuverable and really don't have too much use flying LOS...

A DLG (Topsky 1)

DLGs are great if you have an open field. Set it up right and thermalling is easy. Not to mention highly addictive! In the summer, with all the thermals, DLGs are an absolute blast to fly, and you can fly for hours on a single 1S or 2S pack powering the RX.

I have decided that I really like multirotors, but helis seem cool too cuz they can do more.

You can do more 3D on helis but they are also faster, more maneuverable, and are prone to more setup issues.

If I get a quad or a Hex, I'll save for a HD Hero 2.
