They just exploit a couple more features that the dx7s has, but they leave it out on the 7s features. Lol seriously, the only diff is that the 8 has like one more 2 position flap switch and 10 ,ore models (which is really awesome )and rates that go 0-1-2 vs 0-1 on the dx7s. I can see the need of the extra flap switch for someone who is really into scale, but for 3D, a 7 is all u need IM JOT TRYING TO START AN ARGUEMENT!!!! Just defending my point lol.

I'm not really sure... I wanted an iPad, but I just got one... So ... Idk... Lol, may ask for a 50cc or 30cc airframe? my parents don't want me getting more planes though
