That is one advantage i have to admit is throttle response. But nothing beats the smell of an ic engine. Except maybe the magic smoke that lets the motors and escs work

FPV update guys Trying to simplify my ground station a bit... right now I have the RX with a custom battery cable going to it (3S Li-Po), then a long AV cable going to EasyCAP and my goggles. RX is on a box w/antenna and laptop is heavy to carry around...

So I'm going to mount everything on a tripod like many people do going to grab a DVR so that way I can record without my laptop, much easier. Also going to get a patch antenna, that way I can mount the DVR on the tripod or the pack of the patch antenna and no worry about cables going everywhere.

The other day I left my dx7 on over night. It has a lipo in it. OOPS! The guy at the LHS told me to connect the battery to the charger for a 12v starter battery for no ore then 30 seconds. It worked but I was sooooooo scared the whole time. I don't know whether I was more scared because the battery could explode in my face or because a replacement lipo was $80 GO GLOW

Hmmm I've got an idea. Maybe it would be a good idea to get a 5.8 GHz vTX if I'm looking for simplicity to work with the built-in 5.8 GHz RX in my goggles. This way there's no ground station needed... but I would need a cam onboard to record, or maybe a HD one that can also be used for the live feed... hmmm....

Alright, new plan! These two:

And then the Horyzon HD later on to record!

Well yeah I know, but where were you when you were taxiing it? Where you normally fly, at home, some random backyard (etc)?
