Yeah, true... I want to have good outside maneuverability in light winds, but the ability to do 3d would be awesome!

Personally speaking from experience....

I had an Mcpx, then sold it because I didnt want to get into helis.

THEN i bought another one and thought ahh id give it a try.

BUT, the thing wont fly inverted, if you give it too much collective pitch, either the tail rotor will give out, or the motor will die. I am thinking of upgrading it to the brushless, my buddy upgraded his and gets low inverted.
I dunno.....

You'll have to upgrade because the tail will blow out a LOT.

I'll probably get the new nano cpx. It looks like it has a better power to weight ratio and the tail looks better because it uses the same tail motor as the mcpx but it is lighter.

Quick question guys -

Does this look like a good solder joint, or is it cold? I can't tell the difference anymore, LOL

looks pretty good. There is nothing that screams defect, but then it is hard to tell in a pic. I usually give it a generous yank to test for a good solder joint if I am not sure
