Wingspan is about 45inches

For a 30" delta wing? The prop would be a third of the total wingspan... Bad juju.

I would say it mostly depends on the performance goal. Is this intended to be a light parkflyer or a high-power speed machine? It's very difficult to recommend equipment when all we know is that it's a delta wing around 30".

Personally, the sort of "all-purpose" setup I'd recommend with only the information given is a Suppo 2208-12 outrunner with a 25A ESC, 3S 1300mAh pack, and an APC 6x5.5 prop. This will give you decent speed (~60mph) as well as unlimited vertical if you keep the weight under a pound or so. That shouldn't be a problem; even running 2200mAh packs most of the wings I've built with this setup come out around 14oz.

Well if its hot and rattling......I'm not surprised its not working

It wasn't like BURNING hot, it was just that it was warmer from being inside the package the rattling, I'm not sure about
