Nobody mentioned Vapor yet? It is not a foamie, but it is not that different from Ember, either.

Just a few things to consider ... a real Slow flier should have a lot of wing area, a somewhat draggy under-cambered airfoil , a Large slow turning low pitch prop, and be as Light as possible ... Helps to get it out of “scale effect” by building it >40” ..
I remember flying Art Valland’s biplane in the Hindenburg Hanger at Lakehurst ... it was the slowest flying plane I’ve EVER flown ...literally a slow walking speed .... I even did a carrier landing on a small square card table ... it was easy !!! Chop the power and it descended vertically ... Forget about flying these in any kind of breeze... That’s if you want Really Slow ...

No matter the design, for slow flight you need a low wing loading and a big slow turning prop. There's lots of designs that qualify for this category. Pick one you like the look of and then make a concerted effort to build it as light as possible. Plan the build, the power system and the electronics taking every gram into consideration.

Yup. The Lakehurst guys build the quintessential slow flyers. Some of them are much more scale-like than Art's planes.

I built a 14" version of this simple f-22 with the same hextronik 5g motor. The video is in that post is for a 24" but the 14" flies really well. It can fly nice and slow and still move along quickly when you given some throttle. It is my go to park flier. I fly it with a gws 5x3 prop on a 300mah 2S battery. It has more than enough power to go vertical. If you want a floatier model consider a 15". But the 14" is slow enough to fly on a tennis court.
