I figured I might as well register here as much info as I get from the site. Bought this and got it about 2 weeks ago. It is my first glider and it is pretty fun. My maiden flight was in pretty high winds, but it did just fine. I'll post a couple videos in a little while after I edit them.

After a few flights, I went up the other day and I "believe" the prop got stuck on the canopy and broke one side of the prop off after I was gliding and the prop restarted. I have video of it, just haven't watched it yet. Seeing how the props aren't sold in the states, I ordered a 9x5 prop so when that comes in I'll see how well it flies with it.

you should be fine. I beleive stock was 9 x 6 you might notice a drop in power with a 9 x 5

Here is a video of the prop breaking. This was probably my 6th or 7th flight on this thing with no previous crashes. One side of the prop just came apart mid flight.

That's wild that you had a camera aimed the right way to catch the problem! I hope you found your cockpit/hatch. That's one of the few things bad about this plane - no parts. The prop is the only part, and is only available in China & Aus? Ridiculous!

Finding folding props is tough, especially compatibility between blades & hubs. I found a good informative folding prop article here:
https://www.electricwingman.com/guid...ropellers.aspx

There's a Multiplex Xeno wing with a 9x6 folder (folds the other way, though) that might work:
http://hitecrcd.com/products/airplan...x/xeno/product

APC makes 9x5 and 10x6 folders (check the 10x6 with a wattmeter or you might be able to cut down the 10" to 9") and they sell matching hubs as well:
http://www.apcprop.com/category_s/16.htm

Maybe someone has some other sources?

They say the folders aren't as efficient as a fixed blade prop, but for something that you belly land 100% of the time, it saves a lot of broken props and/or bent motor shafts!

I put the mobius on for just about every flight, I just got it so I want to watch everything!

I watched the canopy float down while trying to slowly bring the plane down. Luckily the canopy landed right by our cars and I was able to get it. I have already ordered a set of props I believe should work. I'll post up results when I get them.

Luckily!

I just got this mobius like a week or two before, so I have put it on each plane for pretty much every flight.
