Then I guess you hate the entire Japanese car industry. Cars built in Japan before World War II tended to be entirely based on European or American models.....companies that "rip off others hard work" tend to make them better...not to mention cheaper. That's called progress

the whole IP process is designed to help the big corporation now. first to file means you better be on the ball to file or it will get stolen. lack of international patent means you need to file in each country and that is expensive. of course, you can always get patents invalidated, using prior art, but that cost money to fight. it is a mess and doesn't protect the innovators anymore. patent process is broken big time that is for sure.

Steadicam is invented by Garrett Brown and it has been registered by camera manufacturer Tiffen, even Iphone has "isteadi" inside. The entire ZERO-STEADI470 system is especially designed for overcoming the difficulties in using Steadicam, which makes it more convenient for customers to use the Steadicam. What's more, the flight controller Zero has invented not only supports the integration of ZERO-STEADI470 system, but also supports the ECILOP frame, so users can saperately perchase YS-X6 Steadi470 version to control the frame of Steadicam structure. And ZERO-STEADI470 system is not cheap, so it's quite fair.

Just found some update from their website
http://bbs.5imx.com/bbs/go.php?id=274
To avoid steadicam trademark conflicts, they just changed its name to "ZERO-Steadi470"

Depends what is included. If it is e.g. ARF (motors, props, ESCs, gyros, servos) then that is not that much.

The FC alone already cost 1k...for that price i prefer naza but YS-X6 does have interesting features like auto tracking...
