Bringing Lipo batteries on airplane (traveling)

Hi everyone, I will be traveling (flying) to Europe in September, I am planning to bring my quadcopter with me with ~6 spare batteries.
I know that Lipo batteries could be very dangerous, if misused or mishandled. I was also reading on internet about safety regulations, that state: Lipos are prohibited in check-in language, but are allowed on carry-on as long, as they contain less than 8 grams of lithium.
I would like to hear some feedback from you guys, who been traveling with Lipos on airplane. Also, your guy’s suggestion, do’s and don’ts.
Feedback is highly appreciated.

It's a PDF file.

You will probably have to ship them to yourself.
