They were never put on. I got this ARF version direct from Banana Hobby, even drove there to pick it up. The decals were on a separate sheet in the box. Don't know why, but actually I think I like it better this way.

That motor would be great with a 4 or 5 s lipo as you wont be able to use much more then a 9 in prop.
Myself I look at thrust numbers and that motor is 1/2 the kv of the stock motor plus i'm sure it weighs much more.

If I had the SSS I would go with a 4s bat and ubec and prop it to around 500 watts to start out with.

The airfram is very draggy so you need thrust.

That would be great if the sss could run that big of prop but you are limited to mybe a 10in prop.

What if he use a 3 blade 9x8 or 10x 5? Oh, or I forgot, a 3blade 8x6 even...?

It is still a 650kv motor stock is 1250 even with a 3 blade prop you would still need a 4-6s lipo.
Like i said I would use stock motor and figure it for 500w and go from there.

The real question is what do you want out of the SSS?

Thanks Don.
I think they are trying to hard to make it somthing its not designed to do be a f18.

100 watts per lb would be double the stock stup.

Please either change the esc or use a ubec but even if you stick with the stock setup I would recommend using a ubec either way $20 investment is well worth it

What would you think of the APC 8x6E on the stock setup?

Sound like a plan?
So you want to populate your empty threads with all of the good stuff and have Doubletap link to them, making you the SSS Guru? Sounds like a great plan.

I want it for just what its made for, floating around smooth as glass I have no plans on using the motor was just curious about the 1000 watt if it was more or less powerful than stock. The SSS fly's just fine as is,all i have done is bigger esc and new control rods ..
