Super Sky Surfer Adjustable Aluminum Motor Mount

After many requests over the last few months, I have just released our new adjustable motor mount for the Super Sky Surfer.

This is a two piece mount consisting of a base tube, and a motor plate. The base tube simply glues into the nacelle retaining the stock thrust angles. The motor plate will attach in 4 positions up to 1.45" above stock.

You can run a 35mm or 42mm outrunner with up to a 13" prop. Even in the stock location you can run a 10" prop with plenty of clearance.

Motor mounting slots are 19mm to 30mm. Total weight is 35g.

This mount will make installing and swapping motors very quick. Also makes it easy to experiment with different prop sizes right at the field.

Send me a PM if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Terry

Thanks! It is fully adjustable and you can retain the stock position with the stock propeller. And you don't have to take your plane apart to swap out the motors. Having a 42mm diameter motor with a 13" prop is probably too much for the average person on this model But having the option to experiment is nice.

Bolting on to the stock mount was not an option. It is held in very poorly with very little support.

You definitely thought ahead making your model come apart. Nice job!

Terry
