Hi!! I'm thinking of purchasing the Duo Discus that is made by HF Models with the veneer wing (120" span). I'm interested in the thermal flight performance and any experience with this plane, hi start launching etc?

I don't have access to a winch, so most of my launches would be hi-start.

The larger scale ships are way to big for me and my wallet. Thanks for your help.

I'm importing these to the U.S. and can give you some guidelines. This plane will high start but you need to exercise caution with the strenth of the rubber. These planes are best suited for slope flying and aerotow. Check out my prices and discounts on first orders with my initial stocking order.
