It's a fine fiddly business.

Hi Robert
Had the operation on the 12 Sept – hope to have the stiches out on the 26 Sept – surgeon said that my fingers are now nice and straight, so that's good news – still very painful, but improving daily – hope to be modelling again soon.
Best

Charles has one deep and serious problem at hand: His test pilot has a living accommodation in Santa Barbara, California, easily one of the nicest places on the planet! It can be difficult dragging a test pilot away from such a locale, even with aeroplanes as nice as what awaits him at Charles' aerodrome back in dear ol' Blighty.

Update on this build insert planking the fuselage makes a very strong, lightweight structure when sanded it should show the classic Spitfire lines off beautifully. My idea is to insert plank the whole fuselage, the access hatch will be from just behind the plastic nose to just in front of the canopy.
