i think this was on the list of radio the deviation dudes ported to v911/flysky protocol. if that turns out to be the case then i just might consider it.

certainly better than $200 for the other devo w/o micro quad.

Sorry the 2402D does not support Deviation firmware and to the best of my knowledge there is no plans to add it to the list...they are currently working on the Devo10 and some other guys has just started on the Devo12...

at this time the only tx's supported for Deviation is the devo6/6s and the Devo8/8s...

■Support for multiple protocols without any modifications to the transmitter:
■Walkera Devo 6/7/8/10/12
■Walkera WK2401/WK2601/WK2801

This price is really insane. The 2402D is really a good TX.
That's the end of the clones, well done Walkera!

Same here... They want 50$ to ship to Taiwan. That's just ridiculous.

Are there many other heli's or quads that are compatible with the 2402D?

Yeah I was pretty excited. Really not wanting a secondary tx, but for this price it's like getting it free and now I have the ability to fly other walkera's. I've been eyeing the walkera scorpion.

NitroPlanes is selling the v1 with the 2402D right now for $58.08!

I couldn't believe it but quickly placed my order as this is almost too good to be true. On top of that it you type in the code... pricepickle it gives you another 6% off. With shipping my total came to $68.72. The Tx alone sells for more than that!

So Merry Christmas as I didn't want to hog this opportunity. And also I have to give credit to dankar04 (hope you don't mind me sharing) who posted the pricing over in the favorite mini thread which made me go check it out.

Here you go:

That's a really great price indeed....not sure why I'm hesitating though. I think I'd have an easier time buying if the radio were 6ch. Here's where the hypocrisy kicks in,.... I'd be stuck with radio #14 and 4ch walkera stuff. Yet I don't seem to have much issue buying $40 quads that do a bit less and likely committed to a proprietary tx. But I suppose the real reason is that I rather have a hotrod quad (my new label for what I think is a hobby grade quad.)

I think you'd be quite surprised by the Ladybird. I now consider it a Hotrod Quad. Much, much more stable and agile than the clones, plus you can do manual flips with it. At the listed price it is an outstanding deal.

Gerard.
